Have you ever grilled pineapple? It's such a quick, wonderful grilled fruit. You don't even need to add much to it. Keep it simple. I like to sprinkle each slice with brown sugar, and let it sit for a little while. The juices start going and then you have that sweet pineapple/brown sugar liquid to baste it with on the grill. Or drink it. It's really up to you.
Now, is this a dessert or a side dish??
In our house it's lucky to make it to the dinner table at all!

- 1 pineapple--skin removed, sliced into approx 1/2 inch slices
- brown sugar
