Cheesecake Brownies

Did you all have a wonderful Christmas?  We had a nice relaxing day at home, it was wonderful!

If you're not too overloaded on sugary treats, I've got a good one here for you.  It is awesome!  The layers of brownie and cheesecake bring together the best of both worlds.

OR, if you want something with more chocolate in it, check out these Andes Mint Brownies

Posted At:
  • 1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese--softened
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Preheat your oven to 350degs.  Mix together the cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, and egg.  Melt together the butter with 1/2 the chocolate chips.  Mix together 1/2 cup sugar and the eggs.  Add the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, and salt) and mix well.  Stir into the melted chocolate mixture, and then add the rest of the chocolate chips.  Put 1/2 the mixture into the bottom of a 9x9 greased pan--spread the batter to the edges.  Spread the cheesecake mixture on top of that, and then the rest of the brownie mixture.  Bake for about 30 minutes, then cool completely before eating.

  1. I'm always up for sweets. Especially brownies!

  2. You cannot go wrong with cheesecake and brownies together! I will have to try this!

  3. My favourite way to eat brownies is with cheesecake! I will definitely be trying this recipe out!
