No Bake Peanut Butter Bars

Have I mentioned yet that it's hot here?  Cause it is.  Summer is hard.  I know I complain in pretty much every post, but my house gets so darn hot.  I haven't made much lately, but I've been thinking of all you dear readers, and feeling bad that I haven't shared anything with you recently.

But it's HOT!  And I have such a hard time cooking anything when it's hot.  I just want to sit in front of the fan.  So here's a nice recipe for you that doesn't involve turning on the oven.  Just what we want in the summer time!

In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and 1 cup of peanut butter.  Mix it well, then press into a 9x13 pan.  In the microwave or double boiler, melt the chocolate chips, and add the 4 Tbsp of peanut butter, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.  Spread over the peanut butter layer and refrigerate until firm.  Cut into squares and store in the fridge.

  1. I think I may have to try those tonight. I was going to do no-bake cookies but alas, no wax paper. We could do these instead.

  3. Chocolate and peanut butter is always a winning combo. This looks like it is no exception. Can't wait to try them.
