Easy Cinnamon Rolls

EASY CINNAMON ROLLS

I'm a lazy creature, I will admit it. Sometimes, I have no desire to spend the time in the kitchen to create the food i want.

This is where a recipe like this one comes in handy.

Instead of working with a yeast bread, which I have no skill for, you use a can of crescent rolls. I always have a slew of those in my fridge!

What you'll do is roll ot the crescent dough into a large rectangle and smush all the seams together. Smear with butter and cover with a cinnamon sugar mixture. Roll it up, and probably make a mess of your kitchen counter. Then I grabbed some floss and sliced off about 1 inch sections.

Cook for a little while, and you've quickly got cinnamon rolls! And I'll admit, they aren't as good as a yeast recipe that takes time, but they're still good!

  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • butter
  • cinnamon
  • sugar
  • frosting
Open the crescent package and lay the rolls out into a rectangle. Seal all the seams together. Spread some butter on the dough, and sprinkle with a cinnamon sugar mixture (brown sugar is great too!). Roll up into a log, and slice into 1-2 inch sections. Place rolls, touching, in a pan with parchment paper on the bottom (to prevent a sticky clean up). Bake for 10-12 minutes at 375
degrees. Drizzle with frosting.
