Tomato Soup

Sorry I didn't have a recipe up yesterday, Baby M and I spent the whole day at the Children's Hospital getting some test done.  But they all came back normal, so we're happy!  Just a long day there. 

I remember the first time I had tomato soup.  It was about 4 years ago.  Yes, I grew up never having tomato soup, and actually being a little creeped out by it.  I don't know why, but I was!  Probably because I'd never had it. 

But it's Captain Jax's favorite soup.  We love to grill up some cheese sandwiches, and dunk them in the soup.  It's also tasty with a sprinkling of croutons and cheese!

  • 2 can tomato soup
  • 2 cans milk
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 4oz cream cheese
  • 2-3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1-2 Tbsp Italian seasoning
Mix together the above ingredients in a crockpot.  Set at low, and cook for about 5-8 hours, until heated through.  Stir occasionally to make sure the cream cheese is melting in.
